Worthy Down Barracks are the headquarters and depot of the Adjutant General Corps and forms part of the Winchester Garrison; an active Ministry of Defence training facility for the Army, Royal Navy and Royal Air Force.

The project involves construction of new facilities at Worthy Down Barracks for the relocated Defence College of Logistics Policing and Administration (DCLPA). The project facilitates closure and disposal of the Princess Royal Barracks, Deepcut and transfer of training from HMS Raleigh and RAF Halton.

Gleeds was initially appointed to provide cost management services as part of an AECOM PAT tasking team brought in when the project was placed in recovery.

Following successful delivery of the PAT task, Gleeds was appointed with AECOM to provide Cost Management through to completion of the project. The project comprises a total of 175,000m2 of new gross internal area over twenty-six separate buildings. The works have also been carried out while the site is occupied and while maintaining training output.
